Dr. Jonelle is passionate about dentistry because she loves helping patients, whether it's by improving their oral health or making them feel confident about their smile. She loves that dentistry combines both art and science.
Dr. Shawn Thomas
Periodontist
Dr. Thomas is a Specialist in Periodontics. As a periodontist, he focuses on treating the gums and bone that support the teeth. Dr. Thomas is highly trained in both surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapy and also places dental implants.
Dr. Julianne Doctor

Dr. Julie joined the team at Oak Forest Dental Wellness in August 2023. She attended Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where she worked with patients of all ages and engaged with the local community. In her spare time, she enjoys video games, DIY projects, and hanging out with her two cats.

Kaitlin graduated from the Prairie State College dental hygiene program in 2013 and has been working at the office ever since. She has undergone training in local anesthesia, periodontal therapy, x-rays, and CPR. She also takes continuing education classes yearly in order to stay up-to-date in the field of dental hygiene. Outside of the office, Kaitlin enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.

Jamie
Jamie graduated from Prairie State College Dental Hygiene Program in 2009. She started her career as a dental hygienist working in a pediatric dental office. Her experience gives her a gentle but thorough touch. She enjoys working with patients to educate them on how they can improve and maintain their oral health. When she's not working, Jamie is spending time with her husband and three kids. She also loves animals and has four dogs, a cat, a snake, two ducks and twelve chickens.

along with being a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 3, vicky is also our expanded functions dental assistant and the head clinical instructor at Springboard Institute. with over 16 years of experience, Vicky helps Dr. Jonelle chair-side, assists patients with treatment planning, works in the front office and with equipment maintenance! In her free time, she enjoys her kids, grandkids, and traveling on vacation with family.

Maya has been working at the office as a dental assistant since 2020. She works closely with Dr. Jonelle and our hygienist Kate to ensure cleanliness and comfort. She is always fun, easy going, and loves having a good time at work. Outside the office, she loves listening to music, watching movies, and going to concerts.
Andrea
Andrea, a 23-year-old dental assistant, is a graduate of the dental assisting program at Springboard Dental Institute in Oak Forest. With a passion for travel and fitness, she enjoys exploring new destinations and maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym. Andrea takes pride in building strong patient relationships and empowering individuals to enhance their confidence through their smiles.
Venessa
Bringing over 18 years of experience in the dental industry, along with her unparalleled ability to multitask, Venessa has been ensuring our office runs smoothly since she joined Oak Forest Dental Wellness. When she’s not supporting patients and the team, Venessa enjoys going outside for walks, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband and 3 kids. From work to home, there’s never a dull moment! And she loves it that way :)
